Calling all tornado volunteers to return for a Remembrance Ceremony | Events

ECLECTIC, AL (WSFA) - Organizers in Eclectic are calling all volunteers who helped with the rescue and clean-up efforts to return to the community for a remembrance ceremony to pay tribute to the lives lost on Middle Road following last year's tornadoes.

Survivors are hosting a big event on Friday, April 27 and they want to welcome back the thousands of people who helped in the area so they can thank them personally.

The ceremony is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. They ask that attendees park at the Madix Plant - they will then be transported to Middle Road. The ceremony will start with a candlelight walk down the path of the storm immediately followed by a vigil and a moment of silence. Entertainment will also be provided.
